Kicking off the season, SEM swimming, lead by captains Brigid Navagh ’19 and Katie Nebbia ’19, have put in long hours of hard work to make this year its best. On September 19, the team had their very first meet against Nardin Academy.  Sophomore swimmer Katie Garis explained the course of events. “We took a hard loss, but many of us gained our personal best in time, which is something to celebrate,” she said. The team has a lot of expectations for this season with sophomore Mick Tesluk. She finished first in both the 500 free and 200 IM.

Although they were unsuccessful in bringing back a win this time, they are hopeful for victory in the following races and for the rest of the season.
