SEM?Quest Jeopardy hosts Doug and Kyle Hopkins
Friday night’s SEM?Quest was a tremendous success with crowds battling it out with Mr. Hopkins Western New York history themed questions. More news on the event is forthcoming!

This week Sara Caywood goes in depth with Eric Froebel for our faculty/staff interview feature; LucyMarie Gaulin captures opinion around SEM security and lockdown drills; Leah Kramer describes the the SEM way with ShakespeareAerin Wagner canvassed Elmwood for budget eats; sports reporter Brooke Gannon describes the value of teamwork.


The Cross Country team had championships today but at press time there are no results – though there is this picture texted by senior Sam Burlow’s mother Tammy.
  • Does anyone have an Android to spare? Tech Entrepreneurship class starts on November 30 and the students will learn to make an Android App.  If there are used Androids out there please drop off at the front office, attention Ms. Adamczyk. The phones should not be connected to cell service, just able to power-up. Thank you.

  • Please let us know if there’s a grandparent you’d like us to invite to Grandparent Morning on November 22. Journalism class will be participating in the #thegreatlisten this year, facilitating interviews between students and grands on Grandparent Morning.   • Don’t forget there’s no school on Friday, November 11. Model UN will travel to Gannon University for a competition. Last year SEM came in 2d!
