Wasabi Japanese Restaurant is a Buffalo-born sushi restaurant that has brought our city fresh seafood and delectable kitchen entrees since 2007.

The restaurant has two locations: on Elmwood in Buffalo (752 Elmwood Ave, Buffalo, NY 14222) and the on Plaza Dr. in Williamsville (100 Plaza Dr., Suite C Williamsville, NY 14221). Both have a very calm and relaxed atmosphere with dimmed lights and soft music in the background. It is easy to order online for pick up.

The menu is diverse in that it offers meal options to meat eaters, vegetarians, and as well as vegans, which when going out to eat can be a very difficult thing to find.

The heavenly appetizer of miso soup was absolutely wonderful – if you like salty food this is the soup for you. The seaweed added in the soup seemed a bit slimy but it was easy to eat around because there weren’t many pieces. The sweet potato tempura classic sushi roll was pleasant and had the perfect amount of crunch to the sweetness a white nectar on top.

The menu also included other attractive non-vegetarian options. If you are more of a meat-eater, the sashimi cucumber roll and the freshwater eel is a popularly ordered meal said a staff member at the restaurant.
