This week Elisa Yi contributes a story about SEM alumna Rachel Jackson ’87, who left her career as a lawyer to found her own company. That company, Rachel’s Remedy was recently a winner in the 43North business competition. LucyMarie Gaulin wrote a companion piece to Elisa’s story about urban studies class going to the 43N competition. Becca Thomas takes us on a field trip to discover Shirley Chisholm on Election Day and Mikang Kim describes the spirit she found at the MMHSAA soccer championship. Sam Burlow signed with Edinboro University to play Division ll lacrosse.
Opportunity to share the spirit of Thanksgiving! Does anyone have an Android to spare? Tech Entrepreneurship class starts on November 30 and the students will learn to make an Android App. If there are used Androids out there please drop off at the front office, attention Ms. Adamczyk. The phones should not be connected to cell service, just able to power-up. Thank you.
