Last Wednesday, SEM students enjoyed the fruits of a successful fundraiser for the SEM annual fund.  Chef Alex treated them to muffins, pastries, yogurt, and yes,  fruit.

Before the winter break, the Development Office challenged parents to raise at least 50 gifts for SEM’s Annual Fund. Our parents rose to the challenge and successfully raised 73 gifts from 65 SEM families! Many thanks to the hard work of our Parent Fund Committee, chaired by Claire Schen P ’18 and including Dianna Saraf P ’19, Carrie Hamlett ’20, Kate Rebhan ’21 and Jessica Enstice ’19.

Parent participation in the Annual Fund is key because many foundations and sponsors look for 100% participation from parents, trustees, and faculty when awarding grants and funding. Support of the Annual Fund (at any level) shows commitment to our school and confidence in SEM’s future.

If you would still like to make your Annual Fund gift, it’s not too late! It only takes a few minutes to make a gift so online or via Venmo @ BuffSem.

Thank you, parents, for your confidence in SEM!
