Remembering… In Oils
In celebration of the Colby-Oishei Art Program, Buffalo Seminary is proud and honored to welcome Pamela Mitchell Henrich ’62.
In 1982, as head of the Arts Department at SEM, Pam designed a program which alumna Patricia Oishei Colby ’32 generously endowed. That program is now in its 35th year. Pam was the first Colby-Oishei artist in the fall of 1983 and we are observing this milestone event as Pam now becomes the 50th artist in the program.
Opening reception: April 7, 2017
7-8 PM
The Margaret L. Wendt (1903) Performing Arts Center at Buffalo Seminary
Pam’s present work is oil paintings in the trompe l’oeil genre. Some are family portraits and others honor illustrators or important persons of the past.
A retrospective of Pam’s and other Colby-Oishei artists will also be on display in the Margaret Smith Mugel ’38 Atrium.
