Letter from the Parent Association President

Ann Wiedenbeck Galbraith, Parent Association President

To our Fabulous SEM Families,

Thank you to all who attended and facilitated the flurry of back to school activities. WOW – these weeks of welcome have made it awesome to be back on Bidwell Parkway!

Please allow me to introduce myself, I am Ann Galbraith ’85, mom of Alex ’20 serving as your Parent Association president for the 2018-2019 school year. It is my pleasure to invite you to come back to Bidwell to “meet and greet” on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at 7 PM in the Colby Room. Parents are invited to attend this informational meeting where we will provide updates on activities that will be held throughout the year, as well as provide you with an opportunity to get to know your fellow families in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.

As members of the Buffalo Seminary community, we welcome your time, talent, and treasure in assisting the Parent Association. We strive to create fun, interactive, social, and productive opportunities at SEM. As we continue to foster a strong sense of community amongst the families, we hope you will join us in helping make SEM the special place that it is in our hearts, and in Buffalo.

Please consider getting involved in these future Parent Association supported events:
 SEM Quest: Friday, November 2, 2018, 7 pm, 205 Bidwell Parkway
 Rose Dance: Saturday, February 9, 2019 PLACE TBA
 Mother-Daughter Brunch: Sunday, March 10, 2019, 20th Century Club
 Senior Strawberry Social: Monday, June 10, 2019, Magavern-Sutton Courtyard

Or, in service as a class ambassador, as we can always use assistance in communicating with students in each of the classes and with their families.

Thank you in advance for your commitment to our community.
