The SEM varsity basketball team had its senior game vs. Niagara Catholic on February 15, in good news,  it ended with a 38-25 win.

“The team started off a little slow in the first three quarters. It wasn’t until the fourth quarter when everyone realized how bad the senior wanted to win this game” said Captain Grace Gallagher ’17.

Sam Burlow ’17 scored 7 points, Grace scored 22 points, Alison Gareis ’17 scored 1 point, Fatima Siddiqui ’17 scored 6 points and Jenna Smolarek ’19 scored 23 points. “Winning the last home game was honestly the best feelings ever. Just waiting for this for the past four years is an amazing feeling” said Sam.

All smiles! Senior girls with Coach Cunningham and Coach Mills.
